Urban front yard Foley

 

The iron work was inspired by the detail in the hand carved wood front door and on the interior furnishing. The client wanted a loose feel to the planting. The only existing plant that was kept was the stewartia tree in the front. The project scope included front porch, gate, water urn, side yard copper and steel screen, back stoop and walk, column for gate, front concrete wall, bluestone walk on axis with the living room window. The dark grey house was ideal back drop for the mexican feather grass and the various textures and colors of roses, amgowa cherry, and hino crimson azalea to name a few of the species in the plant pallette.
